Bilaspur. Car riders were attacked with stones with the intention of looting near Silphari on Bilaspur-Raigarh National Highway. A car rider was seriously injured in this incident. The injured has been admitted to the hospital. Police have arrested both the youths who attacked. The case is from Sirgitti police station area.
According to the information received, on May 23, Ramchandra Chandrakar, a resident of Parsada in Janjgir district, along with his family and relative Balmukund Verma had gone to Takhatpur. After attending the Chhatti program at the relative’s house, they were returning home by car late at night. At around 12.30 at night, two youths riding a motorcycle stopped the car on the Silphari main road and started throwing stones. Ramchandra, who was sitting in the car, has been seriously injured due to the stone pelting. He has been sent to the hospital for treatment, where his condition is critical. The police have arrested the accused.
