Bemetara: There has been a blast in a gunpowder factory in Chhattisgarh, due to which the entire building collapsed and the people working in the factory got buried under the rubble. There are reports of 10 people being killed in the accident, but it has not been confirmed yet.
Police, fire brigade and ambulance have reached the spot. Rescue operation is underway.

The blast took place in a factory in Borsi village of Berla block. The sound of the blast was heard far away and people came running. People buried under the debris were taken out and admitted to a nearby hospital.
It is reported that many injured have been referred to Raipur’s Mehakara Hospital. Administration teams including Bemetara Collector and SDM have also reached the spot.
