Raipur. The state government has declared a local holiday in government offices located in Raipur city and Naya Raipur on the occasion of Devuthani Ekadashi festival instead of Nag Panchami. A revised order to this effect has been issued by the General Administration Department, Atal Nagar, Naya Raipur.
Amending the earlier order issued for the calendar year 2024, the local holiday declared on the occasion of Nag Panchami on 9 August 2024 has been changed to a local holiday on Tuesday, 12 November 2024 on Devuthani Ekadashi (Tulsi Puja). The order issued states that this holiday will not be applicable to banks, treasury, sub-treasury.
