Chief Minister Sai ordered an inspection to ensure the presence of fire extinguishers in establishments

Raipur. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has asked to ensure the availability of fire extinguishers in all government offices and commercial buildings. Officials gave this information on Friday. He said that Sai has strictly instructed the officials to inspect all government offices, small and big industries, hotels, multi-storey buildings, malls, ‘gaming zones’, temporary exhibitions, petrol pumps etc. and ensure the availability of fire extinguishers there.

Sai has said that in this period of extreme heat, fire related accidents are happening continuously in the country, causing loss of life and property. He said that rules should be strictly followed to curb accidents. Officials said that the Chief Minister has urged all the institution operators to ensure the presence of fire extinguishers in their establishments and also inspect and test them from time to time so that in case of emergency, the situation can be controlled immediately and loss of life can be avoided.
