Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi on behalf of the people of Chhattisgarh for the decisions taken in the Union Cabinet under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the upliftment of the tribal community, farmers and consumer welfare. The Union Cabinet today approved the ‘Pradhan Mantri Janjati Unnat Gram Abhiyan’ and decided to continue the Pradhan Mantri Annadata Aay Sanrakshan Abhiyan (PM-ASHA) scheme till the year 2025-26. He has said that the people of the state will also get the benefit of these decisions.
The Chief Minister, while thanking the Prime Minister, said that the approval given by the Union Cabinet under the leadership of the respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the ‘Pradhan Mantri Janjati Unnat Gram Abhiyan’ in the direction of the upliftment of the tribal community is historic. This mission of the Prime Minister will bring improvement and prosperity in the living standards of the people of more than 63,000 tribal-dominated villages of the country and tribal villages of aspiring districts. Certainly, the tribal brothers and sisters of our state will benefit from this. Heartfelt gratitude to the Prime Minister for this decision in the direction of the upliftment of the tribal community and many best wishes to all the tribal brothers and sisters of the country and state.
Chief Minister Sai has said that the Union Cabinet has approved the continuation of the ‘Pradhan Mantri Annadata Aay Sanrakshan Abhiyan (PM-ASHA) Yojana’ till the year 2025-26, which is highly commendable. The total financial expenditure of Rs 35,000 crore under this scheme will help in providing beneficial prices to the Annadaata farmers and controlling the fluctuations in the prices of essential commodities for consumers. Certainly, the Annadaatas and consumers of our state will benefit from this. Heartfelt gratitude to the Honorable Prime Minister for this decision dedicated to farmer and consumer welfare.
Chief Minister Sai has said that the Union Cabinet, chaired by the illustrious Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved the nutrient-based subsidy rates for the supply of fertilizers at affordable rates to the farmer brothers and sisters who provide food to the farmers. This initiative of fixing nutrient-based subsidy (NBS) rates on phosphatic and potash (P&K) fertilizers for the Rabi season of 2024 will ensure the availability of fertilizers to farmers at affordable and reasonable prices. The benefit of which will be available to the food producers of our state. Heartfelt gratitude to the Honorable Prime Minister for this decision taken in the interest of the farmers.
Chief Minister Sai has also praised the decisions taken in the field of space research. He said that the Union Cabinet has approved the Chandrayaan-4 mission. The objective of this mission is to land the spacecraft on the moon, collect samples and bring them back safely to Earth. Apart from this, the Union Cabinet has also approved the Venus Orbiter Mission, the establishment of the Indian Space Station (BAS), and the Gaganyaan follow-on mission. All these decisions in the field of space research reflect India’s strong presence. Thanks to the Honorable Prime Minister for this decision and best wishes to all the countrymen.
Public Darshan at Chief Minister’s residence on Thursday, 19 September
Jandarshan will be organised on September 19 at the Chief Minister’s residence, Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will directly meet the people in Jandarshan and listen to their problems and direct the concerned officials to resolve them. Jandarshan will be organised from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
