Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath may visit Hathras on Wednesday. A senior official gave this information. 121 people died in a stampede during a satsang in Hathras.
A team comprising Additional Director General of Police (Agra) and Aligarh Divisional Commissioner has been constituted to investigate the incident. After the tragic incident, the government in a statement on Tuesday said that the report is to be submitted within 24 hours.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath told reporters at his official residence, “Our government will get to the bottom of this incident and give appropriate punishment to the conspirators and those responsible. The state government is investigating this entire incident. We will get to the bottom of it and see whether it is an accident or a conspiracy.”
Targeting the parties doing politics on the incident, Yogi said, “Instead of expressing condolences to the victims, doing politics on such an incident is extremely unfortunate and condemnable. This is the time to heal the wounds of the victims.
The government is already sensitive towards the victims. The government is already sensitive in this matter and no culprit will be spared. According to the statement, lakhs of followers had reached Hathras district for the satsang of ‘Bhole Baba’, popularly known as Narayan Sakar Vishwa Hari. There were more followers in the satsang than the permission given by the administration.
