Climate change is affecting lives and livelihoods: President Murmu

New Delhi: On the occasion of World Environment Day on Wednesday, President Draupadi Murmu said that climate change is affecting both our lives and livelihoods and collective efforts are needed to build a better and greener world based on sustainability.

In a post on social media platform ‘X’, she said protecting the earth is everyone’s fundamental responsibility. President Murmu said, “We are not owners of natural resources but protectors. Climate change is affecting our lives and livelihoods, especially for vulnerable communities. Let us collectively strive to build a better and greener world based on sustainability.” World Environment Day is celebrated every year on June 5.
