Baloda Bazaar. In Balodabazar district, a Congress councilor killed his wife’s lover. Actually, his wife was living at her lover’s house leaving behind two children. He had gone from Mungeli to Simga to bring her back. There he attacked the whole family. This entire incident is from Simga police station area.
According to the information received, Dilip Kurre alias Rahul is a Congress councilor from ward number 14 of Mungeli district. His wife Sukriti left Kurre and started living at the house of her lover (government employee) Nandkumar Patre. Nandkumar Patre lived in Chanderi village of Balodabazar. He worked in the Water Resources Department, Patharia of Mungeli district.
The family was attacked at midnight
The Congress councillor reached her lover’s house with 10-15 people including her mother and brother. They all entered Nandkumar Patre’s house by jumping over the wall at around 11 pm and attacked the lover and his family with sticks kept in the courtyard.
Death due to serious head injury
Nandkumar suffered serious head injuries in the attack. He was immediately taken to the government hospital for treatment where he died. The injured Anita Patre and Govardhan Patre have been referred to Raipur. Their treatment is going on there.
Angry husband committed the crime due to illicit relationship
SDOP Ashish Arora said that this whole case is of an illicit relationship. The deceased Nandkumar Patre had an illicit relationship with a married woman. The police have detained five people involved in this incident. They are being questioned in the case. The matter will be revealed soon.
