Congress’s CWC and Parliamentary Party meeting on Saturday

New Delhi. The Congress Working Committee (CWC) and the party parliamentary party will meet on Saturday to discuss the party’s good performance in the Lok Sabha elections. The working committee meeting will be held at 11 am and the parliamentary party meeting has been called at 5:30 pm.

The newly elected members of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will attend the parliamentary party meeting. The election of the leader of the Congress Parliamentary Party in the Lok Sabha may also be considered in this meeting. The leader of the Congress Parliamentary Party in the Lok Sabha will be the Leader of the Opposition.
Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh posted on ‘X’, “The programme of meetings of the Indian National Congress tomorrow is as follows.

At 11 am, the extended Congress Working Committee will meet at Hotel Ashok. After that, there will be a press conference at around 1 pm. At 5:30 pm, there will be a meeting of the Congress Parliamentary Party of all the newly elected Lok Sabha members and Rajya Sabha members in the Central Hall of Parliament (Samvidhan Sadan).” He told that a dinner has also been arranged for the extended CWC and CPP members at Hotel Ashok. Congress has won 99 seats in this Lok Sabha election. In the last Lok Sabha election, the party had won 52 seats.
