Create a new record of voting by casting your vote: Prime Minister Modi

The Uncut

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday appealed to the voters to create a new record by voting in large numbers in the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha elections. Prime Minister Modi said in a post on social media platform ‘X’, “Voting will be held today for 49 seats in eight states and union territories in the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections.

I request all the voters of this phase to cast their vote and create a new record of voting.” He said, “I have a special appeal to the women and young voters that they should participate enthusiastically in this festival of democracy.”

In the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections, voting is going on for 49 seats in six states and two union territories.
The campaign for the fifth phase of elections ended on Saturday evening. In this phase, voting is also being held in two ‘high profile’ seats, Rae Bareli and Amethi, from where former Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Union Minister Smriti Irani are in the fray.
