Delhi Police files supplementary chargesheet in Shraddha Walkar murder case

The Uncut

New Delhi. The Delhi Police has filed a supplementary chargesheet with more digital and forensic evidence against Aftab Amin Poonawala, accused of killing his ‘live-in partner’ Shraddha Walkar and dismembering her body. The nearly 3,000-page chargesheet was filed before Metropolitan Magistrate Aviral Shukla on Tuesday, court sources said. Poonawala allegedly strangled Walkar to death in May 2022 in Mehrauli in the national capital and dismembered her body and threw it in different areas of the city.

He was booked under sections 302 (murder) and 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of crime) of the Indian Penal Code.
Sources said that the charge sheet mainly contains reports of Google location, search history and other digital and forensic evidence.
Sources said that Delhi Police has claimed that this evidence further strengthens the allegations against Poonawala. A 6,629-page chargesheet was filed against Poonawala in January last year.
