Demand for MP’s tigers increased: Tigers roaming in the open forests of Madhya Pradesh will increase their clan in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh.

MP Tigers will go Chhattisgarh-Rajasthan: The tigers that gave Madhya Pradesh the title of Tiger State will now expand their clan in other states also. It is going to start from the neighboring states of Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh have asked MP for 6 tigers roaming in the open forest. National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) has also given permission to give 2 tigers to Chhattisgarh. Rajasthan has asked for four tigers, but no consensus has been reached yet. MP is ready to give tiger. Tigers will be given after getting NTCA permission.

Both states are focusing on increasing the number of tigers
There are a total of 3682 tigers including all the states across the country including Madhya Pradesh. This situation is according to the Tiger Assessment Report 2022. Madhya Pradesh has the maximum number of 785 tigers. There are 19 tigers in Chhattisgarh and 88 tigers in Rajasthan. Like other states, both the neighboring states are also emphasizing on increasing the number of tigers.

Everyone likes the tigers of MP.
Experts of the forest department say that the tiger population in Madhya Pradesh is increasing rapidly. Due to this, other states are also liking MP’s tigers and have started demanding them. Now MP has to decide whether it should be given tigers or not, however, giving tigers to other states will not cause any harm, rather it will prove to be a good step for the future.

MP will give tiger on this condition
In fact, the wildlife of any state is a symbol of respect for it. Tigers have given MP recognition not only in India but also in other countries, hence the state takes care that the given wild animals are always safe and there is no danger to them. This is what is happening in Project Cheetah. Ever since Namibia and South Africa gave leopards to India, experts have been keeping an eye on them. Visits have also been conducted to know the ground reality of the project. MP will also give tigers to other states with conditions.
