Gunpowder factory accident: Magisterial probe ordered, families of the deceased to get Rs 5 lakh compensation

CM Shri Sai has written on his social media handle X that, orders have been given for a magisterial inquiry into the explosion case in the gunpowder factory located in Borsi village of Bemetara district. Orders have also been given to provide financial assistance of five lakh rupees to the family of the deceased and fifty thousand rupees to the injured. The injured are being brought to Raipur for proper treatment. Relief and rescue work is being monitored at a high level on the spot. I pray to God for peace of the soul of the deceased and speedy recovery of the injured.

Deputy CM Saw said- there will be a magisterial inquiry into the incident

On the Borsi accident, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw said that there will be a magisterial inquiry into the incident. One person has died in this accident and 6 people have been injured in the explosion. The family of the deceased will be given a compensation of Rs 5 lakh and the injured have been announced to be given Rs 50,000 each. Efforts will be made to ensure that such incidents do not happen. The factory management is also providing adequate assistance to the victims.

Collector said- relief and rescue work is going on

Regarding this accident, Collector Ranveer Sharma said that, as soon as the information about the incident was received, the administration immediately reached the spot. The administration is engaged in relief and rescue work with full alertness. On behalf of the government, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw has announced compensation. The factory management is also providing help to the victims. To prevent such incidents in future, we will take the help of industrial experts. Further action will be taken on the basis of the investigation report.
