Health Minister Jaiswal’s instructions, strict action will be taken against those who are negligent

Raipur. As soon as the incident of a pregnant woman giving birth on the ground in the Primary Health Center Navanagar under Ambikapur block of Surguja district came to light, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal ordered an inquiry into the incident. An inquiry was conducted by the Health Department regarding the matter.

During the investigation, BMO, institution in-charge, BPM, staff nurse, ANM and local Mitanin were present. As part of the investigation, statements were taken about the above case in front of everyone, and the mother, child, pregnant woman and newborn babies were examined. Block Medical Officer Dr. P.N. Rajwade, who did not follow the protocol regarding delivery, was suspended with immediate effect.

Night staff second ANM Meena Chauhan was removed with immediate effect and posted at Ayushman Mandir Revapur. Staff nurse Kanya Pankra who was absent from duty without prior notice was suspended with immediate effect. During the suspension period, the headquarter of the concerned person was made Urban Primary Health Center Navapara. During the suspension period, the concerned person will be eligible for subsistence allowance.

Health Minister Jaiswal has issued instructions to the department officials that strict action should be taken against those who commit such serious negligence in future and special attention should be paid to the human aspects of the patients.
