If ‘India’ alliance comes to power, the country will become a colony of foreign powers: Anurag Thakur

The Uncut

Hamirpur. Union Minister Anurag Thakur on Sunday attacked the Congress and opposition parties, saying that if the ‘India’ alliance gets a chance to form the government, the country will be ruined and it will become a “colony of foreign powers”. He addressed several election rallies in Hamirpur parliamentary constituency. He claimed, “If the Congress-led ‘India’ alliance gets a chance to form the government, the country will be ruined and will become a colony of foreign powers who are busy in destabilizing the integrity and unity of India.” He called upon the people to join hands with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), remain united under the party’s banner and vote in its favor on June 1.

Thakur alleged that Congress and opposition alliance leaders are advocating terrorists and pro-Pakistan elements, but their “nefarious intentions” will not be fulfilled as people know their “evil intentions”. Accusing Congress of adopting a policy of appeasement towards the minority community, he said that nepotism and terrorism were prevalent during the tenure of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government. Thakur said the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 10-year tenure have left an “indelible mark” on the hearts and minds of the people.
