Janjgir. In Janjgir district of Chhattisgarh, a criminal conspiracy was hatched and the land was sold to a person with the same name by declaring him the owner of the private land. After getting it certified by the Tehsildars, the sub-registrar got the land registered. Three Patwaris were also involved in this entire incident. On getting information about the land sale, the real land owner filed a complaint in the court. After which a case has been registered on the orders of the court.
This is the whole matter
Sanjay Pandey, 47 years, s/o Bahoran Pandey, a resident of Takhatpur police station area of Bilaspur district, in Kurda village of Champa block, had bought 15 decimal land from Niranjan, s/o Bhagwat Prasad Pandey. This land is located on Kurda, Seoni main road. After getting the name transfer done, Sanjay Pandey had also got the Red Book made in his name. On seeing the priceless land above the road, Sanjay Kumar Bareth, s/o Bahoran Lal Bareth of the same village’s intentions became bad. Without even buying the land, he took advantage of being the namesake and got a fake loan book made in his name. After this, he sold this land to Sahil Raj Dewangan.
Land sold through fake documents
For this, he got the land registered in his name by colluding with the Patwaris. Sanjay Bareth got the loan booklet number P 2441911 issued by calling himself Sanjay Pandey, son of Bahoran Pandey. In which, according to B-1 of the year 2015–16, the account number 2106 was mentioned. Whereas in village Kurda, there was no account number till that year 2106. By getting a fake loan booklet prepared, he also got the signatures of the then Halka Patwari Arvind Sahu and the then Champa Tehsildar DS Uike. After this, Sanjay Kumar Bareth got the Panchnama, boundary order from the then Tehsildar Saraswati Banjare to sell the said land, and in collusion with the then Patwari Bhushan Markam, got fake documents, site Panchnama prepared on 20 March 2017 and got himself certified as the land owner by two witnesses Santosh Devangan and Abhay Pandey, calling himself Sanjay Pandey. Then sold the land.
The court gave instructions to register a case
When land owner Sanjay Pandey came to know about the sale of his land, he complained about it to Champa police station and senior police officials. But when no action was taken, he filed a complaint in the court. He told his family that Sanjay Bareth has sold his land on the basis of the same name. Sanjay Bareth is not a resident of Kurda. He has forged his Aadhar card and declared himself a resident of Kurda. The court got a Panchnama done from the village Sarpanch, Kotwar and villagers to confirm his resident status, but the Aadhar card also turned out to be fake. Sanjay Pandey also told about the complicity of revenue and registration officers in this. After which the court has given instructions to register a crime in the case.
A crime was registered against them
A case has been registered at Champa police station under sections 120B, 34, 467, 468, 469, 471 against the seller Sanjay Kumar Bareth, buyer Sahil Devangan, witnesses Santosh Devangan and Abhay Pandey, patwari Arvind Sahu, patwari Yuvaraj Patel, patwari Bhushan Markam, the then tehsildar of Champa DS Uike, tehsildar Sarwati Banjare, and the then sub-registrar of Champa Vijay Didhtuduk.
