New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged people to come out in large numbers to vote on Saturday as voting began for the final phase of the Lok Sabha elections. “Let us together make our democracy more vibrant,” the Prime Minister said on X.
Voting is being held on a total of 57 seats in the country, including all the seats in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, and some seats in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha and Jharkhand. Voting is also being held in Modi’s parliamentary constituency Varanasi in this phase.
The Prime Minister said, “Voting is taking place today in the last phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2024. I request all the voters of this phase to participate enthusiastically in this great festival of democracy. I am confident that our youth and women voters will come in record numbers to cast their votes.”
