Mysterious animal like leopard seen in video during swearing-in ceremony

The Uncut

New Delhi. A video of BJP MP Durga Das Uikey taking oath during the swearing-in ceremony for the third term of the Narendra Modi government was in the news on Monday, in which an animal was seen roaming in the corridor of Rashtrapati Bhavan. Some people speculated that it was probably a leopard. After taking the oath, Uikey signed the register and went to greet the President. In the video, it can be seen that at the same time a mysterious animal is walking in the presidential corridor at the back.

However, a Delhi Police official said that there are only domestic dogs and cats inside the Rashtrapati Bhavan. A viral video on social media is claiming that the animal seen in the corridor is a leopard. A forest department official said that there is no information about any leopard being seen in the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

A social media user on ‘X’ said, “Just saw this viral video of Narendra Modi ji’s swearing-in ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan. According to the video, a leopard is seen roaming around freely. It is very risky.” A police officer said, “After the video surfaced on social media, we enquired from the security of Rashtrapati Bhavan whether the animal was a leopard. They said that there was no leopard inside. There are only dogs and cats inside Rashtrapati Bhavan.” Putting an end to speculations, Delhi Police said, “These facts are not true, the animal recorded in the camera is a common domestic cat. Please do not pay attention to such rumours.”
