NEET-UG leak case: CBI arrests co-conspirator from Dhanbad

The Uncut

New Delhi The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Aman Singh, an alleged co-conspirator in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET-UG) paper leak case, from Dhanbad in Jharkhand, officials said on Wednesday. Singh was arrested after the CBI received intelligence inputs about a module active in Jharkhand allegedly involved in the paper leak, officials said.

Officials said that the agency had earlier arrested the principal, vice-principal and two persons who allegedly provided the flat to NEET candidates for their stay in Hazaribagh, from where the Bihar Police had recovered burnt question papers. The CBI has registered six FIRs in this case. The FIR registered in Bihar is related to the paper leak, while the FIRs registered in Gujarat and Rajasthan are related to cheating and someone else appearing in the exam in place of the candidate.
