MP Prajjwal Revanna, accused in the sexual harassment case, has finally been arrested. Prajjwal will be taken for medical checkup today. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has reached the CID office in Bangalore in the morning. He will be questioned at the CID office. If SIT sources are to be believed, his virility test can also be done. Prajjwal’s lawyer, Arun said that he has come forward to cooperate in the investigation. He has requested the media not to conduct a media trial against him. He has been arrested in the Holenarasipura case.

Notice to Prajjwal’s mother too
Apart from this, the SIT has also issued a notice to Prajwal’s mother Bhavani Revanna for questioning. The SIT has asked her to appear at her house in Holenarasipur on June 1. Let us tell you, today the special court will hear the petition of Prajwal and his mother. His mother has sought anticipatory bail in the alleged kidnapping case. Although Bhavani is not an accused in this case, the SIT reportedly wants to investigate her role. Prajwal’s father MLA HD Revanna was arrested in the same case. He was later released on bail.

Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara said that Prajwal Revanna came from Germany at 12.50 last night. He has been arrested. According to the law, the officers will take action. I came from Shimoga yesterday. I have not spoken to the officers yet. We have already made it clear that the victims should tell their problems to the SIT.

As soon as he reached Bangalore airport from Munich, Germany, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) arrested Prajjwal late night at Kempegowda International Airport. According to the information, on Prajjwal’s return to Bangalore on May 31, a month later, Central Industrial Security Force officials took him into custody. They later handed him over to the SIT after completing the formalities. After the arrest, the SIT took Prajjwal Revanna to the CID office in Bangalore. From here, Revanna will be taken for medical examination. At the same time, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) took two suitcases from the Bangalore airport. It is worth noting that Prajjwal, who is facing allegations of sexual harassment, had already released a video message announcing his return to India on May 31. After which the SIT was already ready to arrest Revanna at Bangalore International Airport. Recently, Interpol had issued a Blue Corner notice against Revanna.

The state home minister had said this
Let us tell you that a large number of police forces were deployed in view of Prajwal’s possible return to the country. Karnataka Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara had said on Thursday that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) team will arrest JDS MP Prajwal Revanna as soon as he reaches the airport on Friday. Prajwal Revanna is the main accused in the sex video scandal.

Demonstration against Prajjwal
Earlier on Thursday, hundreds of people protested against suspended Janata Dal (Secular) leader Prajwal Revanna, who is facing allegations of sexual exploitation of several women, and demanded justice for the victims. The protesters took part in the ‘Hassan Chalo’ march and also demanded the arrest of the accused and a fair investigation into the case. The march was organised by a human rights group called ‘Naveddu Niladiddere’. Women, workers, farmers and Dalits from across the state participated in it.
