Mumbai: The Indian stock market is witnessing a tremendous surge and the market has got a great boost after the formation of the new government. The Sensex has crossed 77,000 for the first time and the Nifty has crossed the level of 23400 and reached a historic peak.
Bank Nifty crossed the 50,000 level as soon as the market opened and is trading just a little away from its all-time high of 51,133.20. Bank Nifty has touched the upper level of 50,252.95 as soon as the market opened.
Know the new record high level of the market
The BSE Sensex has reached an all-time high of 77,079.04 as soon as the market opened today. At the same time, Nifty has crossed the level of 23400 for the first time by reaching the level of 23,411.90.
How was the market opening
Today the market started at an all-time high and the Sensex was at 76,935 with a gain of 242.05 points or 0.32 percent, which is its new record high. At the same time, the NSE Nifty opened at 23,319.15 with a gain of 29 points or 0.12 percent.
Condition of Sensex shares
Out of the 30 Sensex stocks, 14 stocks are trading higher and 16 stocks are seeing a decline. Powergrid’s stock is up 3.33 percent and Axis Bank is up 1.63 percent. UltraTech Cement is up 1.50 percent and Nestle is up 0.66 percent. SBI is trading up 0.63 percent. Among the falling stocks, Tech Mahindra is up 2.23 percent, Infosys 1.70 percent, Wipro 1.65 percent, HCL Tech 1.35 percent, Titan 1.11 percent and TCS is up 1 percent.
Market Capitalization of BSE
The market capitalization of BSE has reached Rs 425.39 lakh crore and in US dollars, this market capitalization has reached $ 5.10 trillion. 3431 stocks are being traded on BSE, out of which 2424 stocks are trading on the rise. 817 stocks are down and there is no change in 117 stocks. 194 stocks are in an upper circuit and the same number of stocks are at a one-year high today.
Condition of Nifty shares
Out of the 50 stocks of Nifty, 27 stocks are currently in decline and 23 stocks are seeing an uptrend. Here too, Powergrid is the top gainer by climbing 2.44 percent and UltraTech Cement is up 2.30 percent. Axis Bank is up 1.99 percent, Cipla is up 1.88 percent and Adani Ports is up 1.66 percent. 2416 stocks are being traded on NSE and out of these, 1743 stocks are on a strong note. 600 stocks are down while 73 stocks are trading without any change.
Status of sector wise stocks
If we look at the sector wise, except IT and metal sector, all other sectoral indices are trading in the green zone. The maximum increase of 1.54 percent is being seen and realty stocks are trading at a gain of 1.19 percent.
Market movement in pre-opening
BSE’s Sensex was trading at the level of 77012.44 in the market pre-opening today, up 319.08 points or 0.42 percent. In this way, for the first time, Sensex has achieved the distinction of being 77 thousand in the pre-opening itself. NSE’s Nifty was trading at the level of 23331.80 with a gain of 41.65 points or 0.18 percent.
