Bengaluru, June 3 (PTI) The Central Crime Branch (CCB), which is investigating the Bengaluru ‘rave party’ case, on Monday arrested Telugu film actress Hema after questioning her.
This party was organised on 19th May at a farm house near Electronic City.
CCB had called Hema to its office on Monday.
Sources said that she appeared before the officers wearing a burqa to hide her identity and since her answers were not satisfactory, she was arrested.
According to CCB sources, this program was organized on the pretext of a birthday, in which most of the people came from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. They told that some people were also from Bengaluru.
The CCB conducted the raid based on a tip-off and collected blood samples of people who attended the event.
Police sources said that the blood test report confirmed that 86 people, including Hema, had consumed drugs.
According to sources, a total of 103 people attended the event. These included 73 men and 30 women.
