The lies of the ‘India’ alliance have worked to some extent: Chief Minister Sai

The Uncut

Raipur. After BJP suffered setbacks in some states in the Lok Sabha election counting, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that it seems that the lies of the opposition ‘India’ alliance have worked to some extent. Sai said that the counting is still going on and NDA will form the government with a clear majority. He said that BJP and NDA have performed well in some states while in some others they have performed poorly. The Chief Minister also thanked the people of Chhattisgarh for blessing the party. The party is leading in 10 out of 11 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

Sai said, “I feel proud to tell you that victory is certain on 10 out of 11 seats in Chhattisgarh. Counting of votes is still going on and I am confident that by the time the process is over, BJP will win the remaining one seat as well.” He said, “I want to thank the voters, brothers and sisters for blessing the BJP. The people of Chhattisgarh have put their stamp on the guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

When asked about the party’s performance in the country, Sai said, “The counting of votes is still going on and many rounds are left. We are close to our slogan (BJP’s slogan Abki Baar, 400 Paar). Our performance has been good in some states while it has been bad in some others. BJP and NDA have performed well in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Telangana.” Taking a dig at the opposition ‘India’ alliance, the Chief Minister said, “India alliance resorted to lies, like reservation will be abolished, the Constitution will be changed. I think their lies have had little effect. However, the counting of votes is still going on and NDA will form the government with a clear majority.” Sai also expressed confidence that Narendra Modi will become the Prime Minister for the third consecutive time. He said that there is no doubt about it.
