Mumbai. While cleaning a road in Mumbai, a sweeper found more than 150 grams of gold, which he handed over to the police. An officer gave this information. According to the official, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) honored the sweeper for this act on Friday.

BMC’s Group ‘D’ sanitation worker Sunil Kumbhar had found 150 grams of gold while cleaning Marhish Karve Road near Kennedy Bridge on May 12. Kumbhar first gave the gold to his supervisor Mukram Balram Jadhav and then both of them reached DB Marg police station and handed over the gold to the police. The official said that upon learning about the incident, BMC chief Bhushan Gagrani honored both the employees and gifted them tickets to a play.
