There is a huge wave in the country in favor of ‘India’ alliance: Jairam Ramesh

The Uncut

Sirsa. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh claimed on Monday that there is a strong wave in favor of the opposition ‘India’ alliance in the country and this alliance is going to form the next government at the Centre. Ramesh said that after 20 years, history is repeating itself in the country because just as the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) had defeated the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in 2004, similarly the ‘Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance’ of opposition parties has (India)’ ruling. Is going to defeat Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The party general secretary, who came here to campaign in favor of Congress candidate from Sirsa and former Union Minister Kumari Selja, expressed confidence that the ‘India’ alliance will win all the 10 parliamentary constituencies in Haryana and will also win in the assembly elections to be held a few months after the general elections. Will emerge victorious.

Ramesh said that people have understood that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is “spreading an epidemic of lies in the country by repeatedly lying about everything.” According to a statement, he said, “The Prime Minister cannot speak a truth even unknowingly.” He said that Modi has lost the trust of the people. Congress General Secretary Vineet Poonia was also with Ramesh.

Recalling that in 2004, the BJP had fought the elections under the leadership of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on the slogan of ‘India Shining’, Ramesh said that 20 years ago no one believed that the BJP would lose the elections. He said, “But the Congress-led UPA has done this and is going to do it again.” “History is going to repeat itself.” Ramesh said that the five-phase voting shows that the ‘India’ alliance has gone a long way to a ‘clear and decisive’ victory. He alleged that BJP is against reservation and wants to change the Constitution.
