Jaipur: Three youths died and two others were injured in a road accident in Rajasthan’s Udaipur district on Monday night. Giving this information on Tuesday, the police said that the accident occurred due to a collision between a bike and a jeep.
Police said that on Udaipur-Abu road in Phalasia police station area, a speeding bike collided with a jeep in which the wedding party was travelling. Three friends riding on the bike were going somewhere nearby.
In the accident, bike riders Sunil, Rahul and Deepak (aged 18-20 years) died on the spot due to head injuries.
According to the police, the bike’s petrol tank burst due to the collision and the bike and the jeep caught fire. Two of the six passengers in the jeep suffered burn injuries and have been admitted to a government hospital in Udaipur.
