Two girl students from Sikkim won silver and bronze medals in India Skills Competition

Gangtok: Two girl students from Sikkim have won silver and bronze medals in the India Skills competition organised by the Central Government in New Delhi.

Radhika Chhetri, a student of B.Sc. Emergency Medical Technology at Medhavi Skills University (MSU), won the silver medal in the ‘India Skills’ competition, while Krishna Kumari Mukhiya, a student of B.Sc. Radiology and Imaging Technology at the same institute, won the bronze medal.

The competition was organized in New Delhi on May 19. After achieving success in India Skills Competition, both the students have got a golden opportunity to participate in the World Skills Competition to be held in Lyon, France.

This was the first time that Sikkim participated in this national competition and won medals.
MSU Founder and Chancellor Pravesh Dudani said, “Both the students winning medals at India Skills 2024 is a significant achievement not only for MSU but also for Sikkim as it was the first time Sikkim participated in the competition.”
