Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai on Tuesday announced the launch of Annapurna Dal-Bhat Kendra in all the districts of the state and ‘Atal Utkrisht Shiksha Sahayata’ scheme to provide free education to children of registered labour families in the best residential schools. Officials gave this information on Tuesday. Officials said that Sai made this announcement in the state level labour conference organized on the occasion of Lord Vishwakarma Jayanti.

According to officials, at a programme organised at the Indira Gandhi Agricultural University campus, Sai, while congratulating and wishing the workers on Vishwakarma Day, transferred an amount of Rs 49.43 crore under various schemes to the accounts of more than 57 thousand registered families through DBT.

Chief Minister Sai said that during the first tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he worked as the Minister of State for Labor at the Center for two and a half to three years. At that time, workers used to get very little pension amount. On the initiative of the Prime Minister, this amount was increased to one thousand rupees.

Officials said that Chief Minister Sai honoured the labourers by presenting them shawls and mementos. On this occasion, he released the coffee table book ‘Cradles of Hope’ prepared by the Labour Department. He said that Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh, cabinet members and senior officials were present in the programme.

Along with improving the design of this website, a dashboard has also been created. It will be bilingual so that content will be available in both Hindi and English. This new website will also be mobile friendly.

The e-ticketing system in the website has made the grievance redressal system of workers easy using information technology. The complaint received in this will also be resolved within seven days, if this is not done, the matter will go to the higher authorities online. The helpline number 0771 3505050 was also shared with the workers present in the conference.
