Sukma: Three Naxalites surrendered

Sukma. Three Naxalites including a female Naxalite surrendered before security forces in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. Police officials gave this information on Thursday. Police officials said that three Naxalites Madvi Bhima (52), Madkam Hidma (33) and Padam Aayate (42) surrendered before security forces in the district.

He said that Naxalite Bhima is the president of Dandakaranya Adivasi Kisan Mazdoor Sangathan and there is a reward of one lakh rupees on him. Hidma is the vice-president of Dandakaranya Adivasi Kisan Mazdoor Sangathan. Officials said that the surrendered female Naxalite is the president of Padam Aayate Jantana Sarkar and there is also a reward of one lakh rupees on her. He said that the Naxalites decided to surrender after being influenced by the state government’s ‘Niyad Nella Nar’ (Your Good Village) scheme and being fed up with the inhuman, baseless ideology and exploitation of the Naxalites.

Officials said that the surrendered Naxalites are accused of attacking the police team, doing recce of the patrolling police team and damaging the road. They said that the surrendered Naxalites will be helped under the ‘Chhattisgarh Naxalism Eradication and Rehabilitation Policy’.
