An official had said on Friday that the Mumbai Traffic Police has received a threatening message in which a ransom of Rs 5 crore has been demanded from actor Salman Khan.

He had told that a message had come on the WhatsApp of the city traffic police control room on Thursday afternoon, after which the Worli police registered a case of threat and extortion under the Indian Code of Justice (BNS). The actor had earlier received death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Members of the Bishnoi gang had also opened fire outside the actor’s Bandra residence in April.
