In his first public comment after the murder of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader and his close friend Baba Siddiqui, Bollywood actor Salman Khan said he has to deal with the feud between “Bigg Boss 18” contestants at a time when he You are going through an important phase of your life.
Siddiqui, a former Maharashtra minister, was known for hosting lavish Iftar parties and his contacts in Bollywood. Siddiqui was shot dead on October 12 outside the office of his MLA son Zeeshan Siddiqui in Mumbai.
According to the police, Siddiqui is suspected to be targeted by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi due to his close relationship with Khan.
In Saturday’s ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode of ‘Bigg Boss 18’, Khan said that he did not want to come on the sets of the popular reality show.
In several videos circulated on social media, Khan can be seen saying, “Yaar, I swear to God, what situations I am going through in my life and I have to come and handle all this (fights between Bigg Boss housemates).” … I feel like I shouldn’t have come here today. He said in another video, “Many allegations have been leveled against me also. “I know what my parents go through.” It could not be immediately confirmed whether this episode was filmed before or after Siddiqui’s murder. Though Khan did not share any post on social media condoling Siddiqui’s demise, he had visited the late leader’s Bandra residence last Sunday, hours before Siddiqui’s funeral. An official had said on Friday that the Mumbai Traffic Police has received a threatening message in which a ransom of Rs 5 crore has been demanded from actor Salman Khan.
He had told that a message had come on the WhatsApp of the city traffic police control room on Thursday afternoon, after which the Worli police registered a case of threat and extortion under the Indian Code of Justice (BNS). The actor had earlier received death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Members of the Bishnoi gang had also opened fire outside the actor’s Bandra residence in April.
