Jammu and Kashmir Police warned about Jaish’s propaganda video, appealed to people not to share it

Jammu. Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday issued an alert regarding the propaganda video released by Pakistan-backed and banned terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed and warned people that sharing this video can lead to action against them under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA). Jaish-e-Mohammed has released a five minute 55 second video with the poster of Bollywood film ‘Phantom’. Police said in a release that the video clip was released around 2 pm.

Jammu and Kashmir Police said in a post released on the social media platform ‘X’, “This video should not be circulated further under any circumstances. Remember that circulating any material of this nature is a crime under Section 13 and 18 of UAPA.” The police has asked people and officials to ensure that this video is not circulated under any circumstances.

The police said, “Secondly, they should give information about the people who have sent them propaganda videos, including their phone numbers, date and time of receiving the video.” According to the release, police personnel will also have to inform their senior officers and civilian officials about such videos through written messages to their respective top officials.
Police said that terrorist organizations and Pakistan Army are waging a psychological war against the country and posting fake videos on social media to spread propaganda against the security forces working in Jammu and Kashmir.
