According to the belief, Navtaap will start from the second day of the month of Jeth i.e. May 25 and its effect will remain till June 2. It is believed that during Navtaap, the earth heats up a lot and the heat is at its peak. Something similar is expected to happen this time.

If weather experts are to be believed, there will be a change in the direction of the wind coming from the south for a long time and Chhattisgarh will be scorched by the dry wind coming from the northwest. This process will start from 26th and the heat wave will show its effect for many days. In the month of May, the highest temperature of Raipur was 43.6 and the state reached 44.2 degrees, this record is likely to be broken within the next three-four days. At the end of the month, the heat will reduce a bit, but there is no possibility of getting much relief. Right now, due to the high amount of moisture in the atmosphere, the heat is feeling cold at night, but due to the effect of dry wind, the nights will also be hot in the coming days.

The humidity has made me restless

For the last three days, the humid heat has been making people restless. Right now, wind is blowing from the Bay of Bengal, due to which there is moisture in the atmosphere. Due to this effect, it is raining somewhere in the afternoon. Due to the sun coming out in the morning, people are sweating due to the humid heat, now in the coming days, the scorching heat will make people its victims.

Chances of rain somewhere

Weather expert HP Chandra said that currently a trough is extended from South West Rajasthan to Chhattisgarh. A cyclonic circulation is present over North East Madhya Pradesh. There is a possibility of light rain or thundershowers at one or two places on Saturday. There will be no significant change in the maximum temperature in the state.
