Raigarh. Three people riding on a speeding motorcycle died when it collided with a tree in Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh. Police gave this information on Sunday. A police official said that the accident took place near Karrahan village under Lailunga police station area on Saturday night.
He said that the deceased have been identified as Khule Paikra (18), Vijay Sanwara (18) and Laxman Chauhan (22). All three were going to Gerupani village to attend a marriage ceremony. The officer said Paikra, who was driving the motorcycle, lost control and hit a tree. He told that all three died on the spot. All three were residents of Subra village of the district.
The police officer said that the bodies have been sent to a hospital in Lailunga for postmortem and a case has been registered in this regard.
