Sukma. Security forces arrested seven Naxalites in Chhattisgarh’s Naxal-affected Sukma district and recovered a huge amount of explosives from them. Police officials gave this information. Police officials said that security forces surrounded and arrested seven Naxalites near Mukaram village under Chintalnar police station area. They said that as part of the Naxal eradication campaign in the district, a joint team of District Force, DRG and Bastar Fighter was sent on patrol on Thursday.
Officials said that when the team was near Mukaram village, some suspected Naxalites started running away from there. Later, the security forces surrounded them and arrested the Naxalites. They said that all the Naxalites were working as militia members in the organization. Officials said that when the security forces searched the captured Naxalites, a huge amount of explosives were recovered from them. They said that the operation against Naxalites is going on in the area.
