Mumbai. Horror-comedy film ‘Stree 2’ starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor will be released on Independence Day. The makers announced this on Thursday. The film was earlier scheduled to release on August 31 but it will now be released two weeks earlier on August 15.
Producer Dinesh Vijan’s production company ‘Maddock Films’ shared the new release date of the film on its official account on the social media platform ‘X’ and wrote “Stree is coming again this Independence Day! ‘Stree 2’ in theaters this Independence Day 15th August 2024..” Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana will also be seen in the film ‘Stree 2’. The film will compete with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Khel Khel Mein’, John Abraham’s ‘Veda’ and Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ at the box office on August 15.
