New Delhi: Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan’s debut film ‘Maharaj’ will be released on the OTT platform ‘Netflix’ on June 14. Produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of YRF Entertainment, the film also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Shalini Pandey. Actress Sharvari is in a special role in it.

Siddharth P. Malhotra has directed ‘Maharaj’. It is based on the 1862 ‘Maharaj Litigation Case’.
According to a press release issued by OTT platform Netflix on Wednesday, the story of the film is related to journalist and social reformer Karsandas Mulji.

Mulji was a great supporter of women’s rights and social reform. The film ‘Maharaj’ is part of a multi-year creative partnership between Netflix and YRF Entertainment, the digital arm of Yash Raj Films.
