The Uncut

New Delhi. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has apologised for mispronouncing the Marathi word ‘kachra’ in a video. Bachchan (81) shared a video on Wednesday in which he pledged not to litter the streets. However, his friend and singer Sudesh Bhosle pointed out a mistake made by the actor in the video. After this, the actor now shared another video post and apologised for his mistake.

In the caption of the post, he wrote, “I made a video in which the pronunciation was wrong.. so corrected it.. sorry.” He started the video by saying, “Hello, I am Amitabh Bachchan. A few days ago I shared a video on raising social awareness in which I said that I will not spread garbage. I said the same thing in Marathi language and my pronunciation in Marathi was a bit wrong.” He said, “The pronunciation of the word ‘kachra’ is wrong in Marathi. My friend Sudesh Bhosale told me about this wrong pronunciation. So I am making this video, this time with the correct pronunciation.”
