Meerut. Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from Meerut Lok Sabha seat Arun Govil has defeated Samajwadi Party candidate Sunita Verma by a margin of more than 10 thousand votes. According to the information received from the Election Commission, BJP candidate Govil got 546469 votes while Samajwadi Party candidate Sunita Verma got 5,35,884 votes.
