Mumbai. Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar gang were allegedly considering using minors to kill Bollywood actor Salman Khan, police said. During its investigation, Navi Mumbai Police exposed the plot to kill the actor by revealing the video call conversation between Lawrence Bishnoi gang member Ajay Kashyap and another accused. According to the conversation, ‘sharpshooters’ trained in handling modern weapons were present in Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Raigad and Gujarat on the orders of Canada-based gangster Goldie Brar.

Citing the FIR, officials said that ‘sharpshooters’ Anmol Bishnoi and Rohit Godara were instructed by Goldy Brar to carry out the attack and use minors below the age of 18 for the job. According to the FIR, a man named John was allegedly tasked with providing vehicles for the job.

Officials said that after the attack, the gang members were to regroup in Kanyakumari and then travel to Sri Lanka via sea route. From there, they were to be sent to other countries, with Canada-based gangster Anmol Bishnoi arranging their travel, they said. A case was registered against 17 accused and others at the Panvel Town police station on April 24 after specific information was received about the plot to murder Khan.
