Raipur: Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma will hold a review meeting of Bilaspur Range of Police Department during his visit to Bilaspur today. Additional Chief Secretary of Home and Jail Department of Chhattisgarh Government, Director General of Police, Secretary of Home Department, Inspector General of Police of Bilaspur Range and Superintendents of Police of districts of Bilaspur Range will be present in this meeting.
In the meeting, the status of pending serious crimes, unsolved cases of blind murder, stabbing, sword fighting and firing will be reviewed. Along with this, the status of pending murder cases, pending cases of National and State Human Rights Commission will also be reviewed. Discussion on pending cases of crimes against women and children and compensation to the victims, pending cases of human trafficking, cases of missing women, men and children, crimes against Scheduled Castes and Tribes and status of distribution of relief amount will be reviewed.
The updated status of chit fund cases, progress of investigation of cases registered under NDPS Act and process of destruction of drugs, crimes related to cows, vehicle seizure and confiscation proceedings, upcoming action plans regarding law and order of the district and best practices being implemented in the district will be discussed. Important works done by Additional Superintendent of Police and Deputy Superintendent of Police will be reviewed.
