New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday greeted the countrymen on Hindi Diwas. In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, Modi said, “Many best wishes to all the countrymen on Hindi Diwas.”
The Constituent Assembly gave the status of official language to Hindi on 14 September 1949, after which this day is celebrated as Hindi Day every year.
